Whoa, whoa, whoa!
Everything I thought I would say about the opener for season 2 just left my mind... Carl got shot?! It looked like Rick was taking the sighting of this big deer as the sign he requested. And then BAM! I was expecting the deer to be spooked, or maybe even a walker to grab the deer, but not this.
It would seem that I was correct in thinking Andrea was going to be pissed at Dale. Holy smokes, she really let him have it in front of the group. Add her troubles to Shane wanting to leave, and Andrea wanting to join him, and I'm left ready to see how this season plays out.
As for Sophia, I'm concerned. Two days of searching and they can't find her. I'm not liking that Carol is blaming Rick for Sophia running off. He saved her life by distracting the walkers, and then killing them with a big rock like a bawss. I was proud of Lori for defending her man and trying to get Carol to think rationally.
The church was weird. I expected people, not walkers. I'm proud of Carl for finding the Gerber knife kit, because it led to great killings of walkers.
Now I'm ready to start S2:E2, to see how Carl turns out after being shot, and to find out who the hell shot him! I plan to watch it some time this weekend.
